YOUR CHILDREN ARE YOUR REFLECTION
THE SON OF A GOAT IS A GOAT: THE SON OF A SHEEP IS A SHEEP: THE SON OF A MAN IS A MAN: THE SON OF THE DEVIL IS A DEVIL: THE SON OF GOD IS GOD

Memory Verse: "Behold, every one that useth proverbs shall use this proverb against thee, saying, As is the mother, so is her daughter." (Ezekiel 16:44)

Read: Ezekiel 16:44-46

44 ¶ Behold, every one that useth proverbs shall use this proverb against thee, saying, As is the mother, so is her daughter.
45 Thou art thy mother's daughter, that lotheth her husband and her children; and thou art the sister of thy sisters, which lothed their husbands and their children: your mother was an Hittite, and your father an Amorite.
46 And thine elder sister is Samaria, she and her daughters that dwell at thy left hand: and thy younger sister, that dwelleth at thy right hand, is Sodom and her daughters.

Children that are well brought up in God's ways are a great blessing to their parents. They can be God's vessel of reaching their very busy parents. Children love to copy others, particularly their parents. This explains why raising children should not be limited to instructions, but also by the example of the parents. As young as they are, your children are watching you closely. You would be shocked to know how much your pre-teens know about you. If your instructions are at variance with your actions, you can get them confused. This can even convince them never to take your faith seriously. Your action, behaviour and beliefs must complement the instructions you give to them.

Many years ago, while I was still the pastor of one of our parishes and lecturing at the university, it was common for people to come to my house, bringing in the sick for prayers, or for one reason or the other. While praying for them sometimes, they will be slain in the spirit (fall down and be unconscious for some time). My boy of less than three years old, who was the second to the last child, was always watching. One day, we had a visitor who came with her child. My little boy went into my room, grabbed my tie and hung it on his neck. To him, wearing a tie was what made one a pastor. Thereafter, he went to meet one of my visitor's child, closed his eyes and laid his hands on the child. I noticed his mouth was moving. Not long after his prayer, he opened his eyes and told the child: "Fall down, now". It may sound amusing, yet your children are taking in lots of details from your life. What are your children learning from you? As leaders, what are your subordinates learning from you? Your children are your fruits, and it is by your fruits that you shall be identified. If your children were far from where you are, would they adequately reflect the Christ-likeness in you? It is easy for parents to hide from outsiders, but they cannot hide from their children. The character of your children will show the world who you really are.
THE FATHER’S BLESSING;”I pray for someone reading this message today. Your Children shall be taught of God and great shall be their peace. As a righteous man, you shall not be forsaken neither shall your children ever beg for food as long as you continue to train them to fear God and obey His commandments in the mighty name of Jesus.” (Amen)

ACTION POINT FOR TODAY
Children will either mirror Christ they see in their parents or Satan they find in them. . What do your children show the world about you?

YOU ARE SPECIAL, YOU ARE UNIQUE, YOU HAVE NO DUPLICATE!

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: 1 Sam. 11-13
Saturday, January 22nd, 2011

YOU ARE SPECIAL, YOU ARE UNIQUE
LIKE YOUR FINGERPRINT YOU HAVE NO DUPLICATE, YOU ARE NOT THE COLOUR OF YOUR SKIN OR HAIR, YOUR HEIGTH, SIZE OR EDUCATION. YOU ARE A SPECIAL AND UNIQUE DESIGNER MODEL OF THE GOD OF ALL CREATION.

Memory Verse: "I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well"  (Ps 139:14).

Bible Reading: Psalm 139:13-18
13 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
17 ¶ How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!
18 If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.

In Exodus 2:1-2, after Jochebed conceived, Moses was born. That great, God-glorifying vision you have conceived for your life shall be born in Jesus name. Another lesson from this story is that nothing happens by chance. There is a stroke of divine touch in every seeming random event. The birth of Moses was not an accident (Ex 6:20). There was a void - the need to salvage the Israelites from Egyptian slavery of 430 years. God had a purpose for Moses. In fact, he was born out of necessity. He was born to fill a gap. He was born to solve a problem. In the same vein, your birth is no accident. You were not just born to add to the number of earth's men and women. You are wonderfully and fearfully made (Ps 139:14). Do you know that there is something unique about you? There is something special in you that will make the world regard you. No matter how poor, neglected, or downtrodden you are, you have what it takes to be at the top.

The tendency is for people to look down on you. They will evaluate you based on their yardsticks and write you off. They will say you can never make it to the top. They will say you can never make it in life. Don't believe their lies! Whenever somebody or a situation tells you that you are less than who God says you are, then return to God's Word and verify, for the picture of who you are is in the Bible. Anything that falls short of that picture must be rejected; such is not your portion. Always believe and confess what God has spoken concerning you.

You are a bundle of solutions! You are a solution to your world! Believe it or not, like Moses, there is a problem that only you can solve. Do you know that there are certain souls that only you could lead to Christ? If you fail to do so, such souls will go to hell. There is a gap that only you can fill; you are indeed unique. To discover and fulfil your purpose on earth, you need to have a personal relationship with the One who has the blueprint for your life-the Lord Jesus Christ. Study His Word and live by it. Pray regularly, asking for His direction in all your ways. Never think about the negative impression people have about you. You shall succeed in life.
THE FATHER’S BLESSINGS: “I pray for someone reading this message right now. Those who have been looking down on you will soon be looking up to you, Those who have been laughing at you , this season will start laughing with you, as you stand up against all odds and human expectations to occupy your divinely giving position in the mighty Name of Jesus.” (Amen}.

ACTION POINT FOR TODAY
Father, let me know my purpose on earth and help me fulfill it.
You are special,
You are loved,
You are appreciated
My promise is to reply all mails

WHO IS YOUR COUNSELLOR?

WHO IS YOUR COUNSELOR?
No man is an Island, you cannot do it alone. You need God and godly counsels to reach your god-given goal and finish strong and finish well.
Memory verse: "And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper" (Psalm 1:3).

Bible Reading: Psalm 1:1-3
1 ¶ Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

According to Proverbs 13:20, a wise person is identified by the company he keeps. Similarly, the one who keeps bad company will become a victim of their folly. Who do you associate with? By your association, can you be termed wise? May the Lord make you wise in Jesus’ name.

According to today's reading, a wise person is also identified by his choice of counselors. "Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counselors’ there is safety" (Prov 11:14). It is a big risk to embark on something you have little or no knowledge about. It is even a greater risk to seek advice from those who have no knowledge or experience about the issue at hand. One lesson here is that the strength or quality of your decisions is a function of the level of knowledge and experience your counselors have. Receiving advice from good counselors means reduced risks, eliminating errors, effective time management, and prompt achievement of goals. To get the full benefit of counseling, ensure you choose the right counselors. You are where you are today because of the counsel and counselors you chose.

Who is your counselor? Your counselor would either be a catalyst or hindrance to your destination. A minister of God in his early forties regretted not having access to a good counselor some 20 years earlier when he earned some good income as a salesman. He spent lavishly and believed that money would keep coming. The only thing to show for his years of abundance was a piece of land, which his landlord compelled him to buy. All the rest was wasted! Yet, there was another brother who did not earn as much but because of wise counsel, started investing his little income in shares. Twenty years later, he could afford to buy cars, build houses and live a decent life. While the former, well endowed as he was, was cash strapped, the latter, who was less endowed, was buoyant. What advice are you receiving? Another lesson from today's passage is that there is a correlation between the advice you get and your destination. If you will flourish according to Psalm 1:3, then you must shun advice from the ungodly. Choose godly advisers; make the Word of God and the Holy Spirit your advisers and you will begin to prosper.

THE FATHER’S BLESSING: “I pray for you today, the Lord will guide your choice of destiny helpers and counselors so that you can be safe in your decisions. I pray you will be able to identify “the wolfs in sheep clothing” around you and avoid them. So that you may prosper in all you do this season in the name of Jesus.” (Amen.)

ACTION POINT FOR TODAY.
If you have gotten into a messy situation by following certain advice, change your advisers.

THE IDEAL FOUNDATION!

Ideal Foundation

Memorise: "Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste" (Isa 28:16).

Read: Exodus 2:1-10

1  ¶ And there went a man of the house of Levi, and took to wife a daughter of Levi.

2  And the woman conceived, and bare a son: and when she saw him that he was a goodly child, she hid him three months.

3  And when she could not longer hide him, she took for him an ark of bulrushes, and daubed it with slime and with pitch, and put the child therein; and she laid it in the flags by the river's brink.

4  And his sister stood afar off, to wit what would be done to him.

5  ¶ And the daughter of Pharaoh came down to wash herself at the river; and her maidens walked along by the river's side; and when she saw the ark among the flags, she sent her maid to fetch it.

6  And when she had opened it, she saw the child: and, behold, the babe wept. And she had compassion on him, and said, This is one of the Hebrews' children.

7  Then said his sister to Pharaoh's daughter, Shall I go and call to thee a nurse of the Hebrew women, that she may nurse the child for thee?

8  And Pharaoh's daughter said to her, Go. And the maid went and called the child's mother.

9  And Pharaoh's daughter said unto her, Take this child away, and nurse it for me, and I will give thee thy wages. And the woman took the child, and nursed it.

10  And the child grew, and she brought him unto Pharaoh's daughter, and he became her son. And she called his name Moses: and she said, Because I drew him out of the water.

And the woman conceived, and bare a son: and when she saw him that he was a goodly child, she hid him three months" (Exodus 2:2).

Welcome to year 2011. Today's reading has some beautiful truths that can help us achieve laudable goals set for the year. This passage and Exodus 6:20 talk about the marriage between Amram and Jochebed-both of the tribe of Levi. The first lesson here is that a home on the right foundation opens a door through which God can reach the world. If you can get it right from the beginning, everything else will fall in place over a period of time. Moses was a product of a good foundation. Do you know that if Amram had taken an ungodly wife, he may never have had Moses? Singles of marriageable age who try to play smart with God when choosing a marriage partner will, among other losses, be denied God's best. Whatever it takes to start your family on the right foundation is worth all the trouble. Wait, search, and prayerfully probe all options available to you and ask God to guide you to His will.

"Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste." (Is 28:16). Amram's decision to marry from the priestly tribe was in consonance with God's set order to reproduce after kind (Gen 1:24-25). A believer is a kind. An unbeliever is another kind. When a believer marries an unbeliever, the law of kinds is breached and the product of such a relationship is confusion. In Genesis 6:1-7, when the sons of God began to marry the daughters of men, they gave birth to giants-abnormal children--and this provoked God's judgement on the world. The product of unequal yoke in marriage, business, ministry or academics might have unpleasant consequences. In other words, while some people give birth and Heaven is agog with joy, others give birth and God's judgement comes down. This year, you must resist every pressure to do anything without God's guidance. Ensure you have God's Word as your daily road map. Jesus is a sure foundation; He can be relied on to not disappoint. Do not partner with unbelievers in that business deal; avoid 'miracle agents' or vendors who use satanic powers in a bid to prosper. Let Jesus and His Word be your foundation in all you do this year! Happy New Year!

THE FATHER’S BLESSING:” I speak to you today, in the name above all names. There is Light ahead of you this year 2011 The former crooked way shall be made straight as the Great Repairer Of Faulty Foundations start to work on your destiny in Jesus' Name.” (Amen)

ACTION POINT FOR TODAY

Praise and worship God for the next one hour. Thank Him for your entering 2011 successfully.

CROSS OVER PUSH (PRAYING UNTIL SOMETHING HAPPENS) DAY FIVE: THANKSGIVING AND PRAISES INTO THE NEW YEAR

CROSS OVER PUSH (PRAY UNTIL SOMETHING HAPPENS)

DECEMBER 28TH – JANUARY 1st 2011 5 DAYS OF GRACE

DAY FIVE: JANUARY 1ST 2011 – PRAISE & THANKSGIVING THE KEY TO ENTER HIS PRESENCE IN THE NEW YEAR

CALL TO WORSHIP: PSALMS 67: 3-7

.5 Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. 6 Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us. 7 God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.

BIBLE READING:  PSALM 100

1 Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. 2 Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing. 3 Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. 4 Enter into his gates with thanksgivingand into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. 5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

PRAISE AND THANKSGIVING

·      Praise is the cheapest way to receive anything from God.  It is a God given weapon with which you can humiliate the devil and his works.
·      Praise is a key, because the Bible says “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise – Psalm 100:4
·      Without praise and thanksgiving the gates of God will remain shut. I pray that whatever gates that might have been shut against you, as you praise the Lord this year, they will open of their own accord in the name of Jesus.
·      You can pray amiss but you can never praise God amiss because God Himself inhabits the praises of His people – Psalm 22:3
·      Praise is the food of God.  When you make God praise-full, He will make you miracle-full – Psalm.50:12-15
·      We can conclude from Psalm 67:5-6: that if people fail to give praise to God, the earth will NOT yield her increase. That is called. FAMINE. Is there any area of your life where you have been experiencing famine, why not praise Him. Are you in any unpleasant situation at the moment, start praising Him and you will see every unpleasant situation turned around.
·      It is praise that can make God to step in when you least expected. (that is the true meaning of divine intervention), and when God steps in  every unpleasant situation around you steps out automatically
·      From Psalm 67, we know the earth has increases, riches and abundance embedded within it. There are blessings upon the earth waiting to be released to you. God has given you the power to get wealth – Deuteronomy 8:18
·      Whatever, increases the earth has got to yield. God is the owner of it – Psalm 24:1 says the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, the world, and they that dwell therein.” When you praise God, God will command the earth to yield her increase.
·      Gates can serve as a barrier many times. It can serve as a weapon of defence and offense. Remember to enter the gate you need a key and that key is praise and as you praise Jesus the King of glory Who dwells in the praises of His people will come in and the gates will automatically lift up their heads for Him – Psalm 24:7-10. Every gates shut against your progress, every barrier, every barricade as you praise the King of glory this year, they shall be shattered in the name of Jesus.
·      Beloved, at the grave of Lazarus, all Jesus had to do was to give thanks and he that was dead four days ago came alive, even though his body has started to decay. John 11:41-44. Praise and thanksgiving became the supernatural key that unlocked the earth on that day.  As you praise and thank God this year, may every good thing that is dead in your life begin to come forth in the name of Jesus.
·      Because, God has already decreed that that “ALL IS WELL WITH US BODY SOUL AND SPIRIT” Meaning, He has already decreed that the earth will begin to yield her increase and fruitfulness unto you, your Family, Career, Business, Ministry, City,  and your Church in Jesus’ name. GOD BLESS YOU. AMEN.
