ARE YOU PRIVILEGED?

GIVING AS A PRIVILEGE AND FAVOUR FOR BLESSING

GIVE TO GOD CHEERFULLY AS A SEED YOU SOW NOT AS A DEBT YOU OWE FOR IN DUE SEASON YOU SHALL REAP THE REWARD

Memory VERSE: "And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee " (Mark 10:49)

Bible Passage: 1 Samuel 16:11-13
11 And Samuel said unto Jesse, Are here all thy children? And he said, There remaineth yet the youngest, and, behold, he keepeth the sheep. And Samuel said unto Jesse, Send and fetch him: for we will not sit down till he come hither.
12 And he sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the LORD said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he.
13 Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.

When the time of your favour comes, God will order the steps of your helpers to locate you wherever you are and cause them to listen to you. Similarly, when the time of God's favour has come, you will have an opportunity to sow. God deals with men according to His divine principles. He does not need anything from you so whenever He asks you to give, it is to enable Him give you something more precious and bigger. An instance is widow of Zarephath recorded in 1 Kings 17:8-16. When the Lord sent Elijah to her, He said she was the one He had commanded to sustain him. How could a widow with just a meal, who could not sustain herself and her son, sustain Elijah? Where could this widow acquire food supplies for three people for about three and a half years? This simply shows that God picked on her out of several widows during a period of famine for divine favour, so that as she parted with her last, she could tap into God's first. If God gives you an opportunity to sow when same opportunity could have been given to someone else, do realize it is a mark of God's favour on you. If you can be wise enough to put God ahead of your need, He will make your matter of priority to Him. Never misuse any opportunity to sow into God's house, and servants this year.

In addition, another indicator that your time of favour has come is that God will ask specifically for you. You will be on God's top request list. Those who were favoured of God in Bible times were personally sought for by God. When it was time to visit Sarah, God asked of her from her husband. When David's time of favour had come, even when he was not considered at all by his father, God asked personally for him among the sons of Jesse. The good news about this is that when God asks for you, nobody can cover you anymore under their veils or covers. You can be hid no more. God will ask for you this season. He will call you by your name. Wherever the enemy had kept you, you will surface in Jesus' Name. While asking for David, because time had been wasted in fielding the wrong candidates, God was urgent. The prophet refused to sit until David was brought. In the Name of Jesus, the Lord will be urgent upon your case. He will put everything on hold until you enter your desired open door.

THE FATHER’S BLESSING.”I pray for someone reading this message today, the Lord will single you out for favour before the end of the year and move you from obscurity into limelight as He personally will advertise you. He will accept you and accept your offerings; He will bless you and bless your offerings; He will use you and use your offerings in the mighty name of Jesus.” (Amen.)
